Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Philippines, in partnership with Xiaomi Philippines, has wrapped up its campus visits to the National University – Laguna and Technological Institute of the Philippines – Quezon City which aimed at promoting healthy gaming, team work, and belongingness among students through a series of MLBB-themed activities.

Students from National University – Laguna took part in the interactive activities to hone their creativity and teamwork.

The interactive activities include word games, raffles, and a career talk led by international gaming publisher and developer MOONTON Games that discussed the opportunities students can seize in the esports and gaming industry.

“Having a passion for MLBB can help you land a job, no matter what your college degree is. We’ve worked with a lot of marketers, social media moderators, broadcast managers, logistics managers, talent handlers, and operations managers who play an important role in mounting a successful campaign,” MOONTON Games – Philippines Human Resource Head Stephen Mabasa shared.

Diploma o Diskarte: Technological Institute of the Philippines – Quezon City students attended a career talk led by MOONTON Games which also focused on fostering a healthy gaming community.

Moreover, the conference also shared ways to have a healthier gaming environment for the community, emphasizing that trashtalking, cheating, and discrimination are not taken lightly by the publisher.

“Toxicity in gaming encompasses a range of negative behaviors that can contribute to a hostile and unwelcoming environment. As gamers, we need to recognize these behaviors as it is crucial for fostering a healthier community,” Mabasa added.

MLBB has been implementing measures both within and beyond the game to ensure a healthy gaming environment and foster an atmosphere where players can enjoy their gaming experience. This includes the in-game reporting mechanics, moderation and enforcement, and community building initiatives such as this event.

Meanwhile, the MLBB Community Cup Grand Finals day for the friendly MLBB tournament in SM City Manila was held today, 8 February 2024.

MKHR E-sports took the biggest share of the prize pool worth 50,000 in-game diamonds and a brand new Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G. The first runner-ups, namely NUAG Mystic (National University – Laguna) took home a Redmi Buds 4 Pro and City Sling Bags, while teams Kahit Ano Nalang Pre team and Dignidad took home Xiaomi Smartband 8.
