3 low-key rock anthems that hit different

From getting smitten by someone new to longing for an old love, these new rock anthems from bands BRYN and RadRed and soloist Dan Martel speak volumes of raw emotions that make them relatable to audiences.

Get to know more about these latest DNA Music releases that truly hit different with their catchy rock melodies and yearning feels:

1. “Pinalit Sa Malapit (PSM)” by BRYN

“PSM” is a heartfelt anthem from the rock-emo-ballad band, BRYN, from La Union. It is the debut offering of the promising six-piece band that chronicles the struggle of long distance love and the pain of getting replaced by someone more accessible.

2. “Ibang Planeta” by Dan Martel

Dan Martel’s “Ibang Planeta” is a love song about a girl so divine with a vibe tha brings the smitten guy out of this world feels. The nostalgic rock single is the latest from the songwriter who won in Himig Handog 2019 for “Mabagal.”

3. “Punong Baso” by RadRed

“Punong Baso” is a poetic exploration on love, desire, and beauty of shared experiences from RadRed, formerly known as Jose Carlito, composed of guitarist Katsumi Kabe, bass guitarist JZ Lorenzo, drummer Vastien de Jesus, and vocalist JC Padilla. The band’s latest offering was composed by JC and produced by Jack Rufo.

“PSM,” “Ibang Planeta,” and “Punong Baso” are now available for streaming on various platforms.
