Education is a powerful means to equip young women to make informed choices in their life.
This is the core advocacy of Charmee Feminine Protection as it relaunched the “PAD-ibig Diaries” recently, a campaign which aims to empower young women with the right reproductive health education with the use of engaging and colorful stories wrapped around the Charmee Cottony Napkin for Heavy Flow pads.
The PAD-ibig Diaries feature 24 different diary designs and stories touching on topics about puberty, consent, reproductive health, healthy relationships, and sexual education. The project is an initiative of Charmee, a brand manufactured by JS Unitrade Merchandise Inc., in collaboration with Roots of Health, a non-government organization based in Palawan, and Blackpencil Manila of the Leo Burnett Group.

Introduced in 2024 to female students in Palawan National School, PAD-ibig Diaries this year has expanded its reach to girls in the metro and was conducted recently at the Rizal High School (RHS) Pasig, considered as one of the largest schools in the Philippines and in Asia.
The event was attended by about 500 female students from Grades 7 to 10. The sessions featured interactive activities including PAD-ibig stories reading by volunteer RHS theater students, myth-busting portion dubbed Chismis o Check, and a Q&A session.
After the event, Charmee turned over the PAD-ibig Diaries drawer and a total of 12,000 Charmee Cottony Napkin for Heavy Flow sanitary pads, to be stationed at the school clinic to ensure that RHS female students have free and continuous access to menstrual products and reproductive health knowledge.

Charmee’s mission of educating young girls does not end there. The brand is rolling out a series of school tours nationwide, visiting elementary schools and high schools to distribute sanitary pads and pantyliners to young girls whilst educating them about proper menstrual health, hygiene, and habits. Charmee will continue to participate in relevant conversations such as Menstrual Hygiene Month celebration and PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) Month to raise awareness about the condition.
Charmee’s meaningful campaigns will continue to underscore the brand’s commitment to be every girl’s dependable ally in their journey to womanhood.
