Federal Express Corporation, one of the world’s largest express transportation companies, announced that Kawal Preet, formerly Regional President of the Asia Pacific and now Executive Vice President (EVP) of Planning, Engineering and Transformation, has been named on the Fortune Most Powerful Women Asia 2025 List. This prestigious recognition highlights her exceptional leadership of the FedEx Asia Pacific team and outstanding accomplishments under her guidance, underscoring her impact in the industry.

The Fortune Most Powerful Women (MPW) Asia 2025 list honours 100 leading women who are transforming business across Asia’s major financial, consumer, and technology centers, as well as the transport, aviation, industrial and energy sectors — where scale, digitalization, and supplychain resilience define competitive advantage. Their innovative strategies and leadership are driving market growth, scaling new platforms, and shaping Asia’s business landscape.

“MPW Asia 2025 celebrates diversity – from the region’s most powerful boardrooms to the arenas of culture, sport, and public life, our honorees are setting Asia’s agenda and shaping its future,” said Ms. Ang Khoon Fong, Fortune Asia CEO. “Together, they personify the depth, range, and creativity that define the Most Powerful and Influential Women in Asia today.”

“This is an exceptional honor to be recognized by Fortune in this way. I am truly humbled to be listed alongside such an incredible group of women,” said Kawal Preet, executive vice president (EVP) of Planning, Engineering and Transformation, FedEx. “I am fortunate that throughout my career, and particularly at FedEx, to have had the support of exceptional leaders and role models that have helped to shape and guide my approach to business and leadership. FedEx has an incredible track record of supporting women in leadership. I hope that this recognition inspires other women in my organization as well as across Asia.”

Fortune is one of the world’s most influential media brands in business and finance. In compiling the list, Fortune editors evaluated company scale and health; career momentum; influence; innovation; and efforts to drive social impact. The honorees include 28 women in global or regional roles at Fortune Global 500 companies and six who serve as CEO, Chairman and other C-Suite roles at Fortune Southeast Asia 500 firms. Additionally, Fortune has spotlighted 12 influential figures from across Asia: cultural icons in the arts and sports — alongside leaders in public office.
