As one of the top gaming phone brands in the Philippines, Infinix has made it possible for aspiring young players to learn the ropes of competing in esports during its first-ever Infinix Gaming Masterclass last March 18th. Co-presented by Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines and MOONTON Student Leaders Philippines, the workshop gave University of Makati (UMak) students and gaming enthusiasts the lowdown on the competitive gaming scene.
The Infinix Gaming Masterclass was attended by a crowd of enthusiastic students eager to learn from industry experts, MPL PH caster and former Loyola Gaming member Bridgette “Brigida” Ramos, and Moonton Games Philippines’ esports production lead Otto Hernandez.

The speakers talked about their experiences working in esports and provided insights on how to be a pro gamer, even at a young age. Brigida shared practical tips on how to balance one’s studies while pursuing a career in gaming, emphasizing the importance of time management and mental fortitude to do well in both.
Having the discipline to focus on school and pro gaming is just the tip of the iceberg. Hernandez highlighted the importance of having access to high-quality tech, such as the Infinix GT 20 Pro, and software that are essential in not only running games smoothly, but also aiding players in securing the win.
Empowering a new era of pro gamers

Beyond educating aspiring pros, Infinix also gave lucky participants the chance to take home Infinix GT 20 Pro smartphones, limited-edition Infinix x MPL merch, and tickets to MPL Season 15. More than giveaway prizes, these are great ways to immerse themselves in the MLBB scene and prepare them for their future pro gaming careers.
The Infinix GT 20 Pro is the official tournament phone of MPL Philippines Season 15. Powered by a dual chipset consisting of the Dimensity 8200 Ultimate 4nm 5G Processor and dedicated Pixelworks X5 Gaming Display Chip with up to 24GB Extended RAM + 256GB ROM, the phone was developed to provide a premium gaming experience, especially for MLBB.

Infinix believes in making technology accessible and affordable. At the same time, it aims to empower avid mobile gamers to play their best and reach the top, especially in a massive mobile gaming hub such as the Philippines. The first Infinix Gaming Masterclass in UMak is just one of the ways the brand helps students and aspiring pros to break into the gaming and esports industry.
As Infinix continues to empower the gaming community, fans can look forward to more opportunities to learn and compete in the ever-evolving esports scene.
