Fresh off his acclaimed portrayal of April Boy Regino in “Idol: The April Boy Regino Story,” rising actor-singer John Arcenas officially marks his entry into the music scene with the release of three emotionally charged ballads under ABS-CBN’s StarPop label.

Leading the pack is a remake of “Sigurado,” originally performed by Belle Mariano and composed by Trisha Denise. In this version, John lends a fresh yet sincere take, reflecting the certainty and vulnerability of loving someone wholeheartedly.

Also included in his debut lineup are “Paano Ba,” which highlights the pain and struggles of letting go and moving on from a heartbreak, and “Isa Pang Ikaw,” which focuses on finding a rare, comforting kind of love. Both songs were composed by Richanne Charms Jacinto, and all three tracks were produced by StarPop label head Roque “Rox” Santos.

Before launching his music career, John gained popularity through his roles in the Netflix youth series “Happy Crush” and the musical stage production “Juan Luna: Isang Sarsuwela.” His standout performance as April Boy Regino further cemented his status as one of today’s promising young artists.

All tracks are now streaming on major digital platforms.
