Julie’s, the country’s beloved neighborhood bakeshop, kicks off the new year by bringing back its Jumbo Pandesal for P5 each in select stores nationwide.

Julie’s, the country’s beloved neighborhood bakeshop, kicks off the new year with everyday fresh and everyday sulit offerings.

During the celebration of Julie’s Pandesal Day on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, the renowned bakeshop delighted fans by bringing back the crowd-favorite Jumbo Pandesal—twice the size of a typical pandesal. It was made available in select stores nationwide from 6:00 to 8:00 AM, making it the perfect companion for a typical Filipino breakfast.

The excitement doesn’t end there: Julie’s is also launching the Milky Cheese De Sal, a fresh take on a beloved Filipino classic. This soft, cheese-filled bread is coated with a delectable milk and sugar mix, offering a sweet and savory treat. Starting January 16, it will be available in select Julie’s stores nationwide.

These delectable treats mark the start of 2025 and celebrate more than four decades of Julie’s bringing delicious bread and pastries to Filipinos.

Julie’s Marketing Director Marc San Juan expressed gratitude for the Filipinos’ continued support for the bakeshop and shared his enthusiasm in bringing new offerings that will soon join Julie’s selection of everyday fresh and sulit breads in 2025.

“January is our anniversary month, and 2025 marks our 44th year since Julie’s opened its first store in Wireless, Mandaue City. We are excited to start it with our annual Julie’s Pandesal Day coupled with the next-day launch of a twist to the traditional pandesal with our Milky Cheese De Sal. We want to delight our customers, thus we continually try to innovate by adding to our offerings,” San Juan said.

For Julie’s Pandesal Day, the bakeshop brought back the Jumbo Pandesal, twice the size of its original pandesal, for a limited time. Select stores nationwide will also begin offering the new Milky Cheese De Sal, a sweet and savory cheese-filled bread coated with milk and sugar.

Decades of sharing fresh and sulit goodies nationwide

As Julie’s enters its 44th year, the bakeshop is doubling down on its mission of delivering everyday fresh and sulit breads to Filipinos nationwide. According to San Juan, this milestone year serves as an opportunity to reaffirm the vision of founder Julie Gandionco of feeding Filipino communities.

The launch of the Milky Cheese De Sal is just the beginning, San Juan added. He said that Filipinos can look forward to a year full of exciting activities and celebrations.

“The first two offerings are just the beginning, as we are set to launch more products and offer exciting promos that we hope will engage our customers to enjoy Julie’s further,” San Juan explained.

Recently, Julie’s brought its Sama Saya Caravan to Ayala Malls Abreeza in Davao City last January 11, which featured Pinoy merienda favorites like cheese breads, crinkles, ensaymadas, pan de cocos, and violet cream loaves, among others. Fans in Davao City were also given the chance to meet and greet actress and Julie’s brand endorser Kim Chiu during the caravan.

Other new products will also be launched soon, along with different region-exclusive products. Last month, select Julie’s stores in Visayas rolled out the sweet and delicious Julie’s Cookies, which come in four flavors: butter, chocolate, peanut, and sesame.

“Aside from breads, we will soon be launching new cakes that will make our customers’ experience more sulit by making us not only part of their daily routine, but also during special milestones and celebrations,” San Juan said.
