More than just switching off lights from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM on March 22, the malls will host meaningful events designed to inspire communities to embrace sustainability in fun and engaging ways.

Earth Hour 2025 Highlights at Megaworld Lifestyle Malls
- Eastwood City, Quezon City – Pedal for the planet in an exhilarating Bike Parade, a community ride in partnership with Firefly Brigade and Greenpeace PH. The event culminates in a symbolic lights-off ceremony and soulful live busking performances.
- Uptown Bonifacio, Taguig City – Enjoy a night of music with an unplugged concert featuring rock band Over October at the Uptown Mall alfresco area. The event begins with a Countdown to Earth Hour, followed by a breathtaking 1,000-candle illumination ceremony and a mesmerizing live performance. From March 21 to 23, the mall will also host a Sustainability Fair, showcasing handmade products, in partnership with DTI Rizal.
- Venice Grand Canal, McKinley Hill – Experience a breathtaking Floating Lotus Ceremony, where 600 illuminated lotus flowers drift across the canal, forming the iconic “60+” symbol—a tribute to the 60-minute commitment to Earth Hour. This initiative is in partnership with Taguig Crocheters.
- Forbes Town, Taguig City – Witness a dazzling visual display of 600 solar-powered lights illuminate the Glowing Garden at Burgos Park, symbolizing the community’s dedication to sustainability.
- San Lorenzo Place Mall, Makati – Feel the rhythm of nature with live drumbeats, and take part in a meaningful tree-planting activity that reinforces the importance of urban greenery.
- Lucky Chinatown, Manila – Driving the future of green mobility, Lucky Chinatown will launch its Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Station on March 21, 2025, supporting a range of electric vehicles and making sustainable transportation more accessible. In partnership with the Boy Scouts of the Philippines, the mall will also donate 600 pothos plants to select schools, inspiring the next generation of environmental advocates.
