Araneta City is going all out for Mother’s Day with a week-long celebration that puts moms in the spotlight. From pop-up markets and wellness booths to family runs and live music, this year’s Ultra Mom Fest is a full experience for moms of every kind—and the people who love them.
“Mothers play an irreplaceable role in shaping who we are and where we come from,” Marjorie Go, Vice President for Marketing of Araneta City, said. “They nurture, inspire, and stand by us through every stage of life. As we mark this special day, we are preparing something truly memorable for the most special ladies in our lives.”
The celebration kicks off at Ali Mall with Para Kay Nanay: POP QC Mother’s Day Market in partnership with the Quezon City local government. Twenty pop-up shops of small businesses will open at the mall’s MacArthur Activity Area from May 5 to 11, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte opening the bazaar on May 5.
On May 10, Gateway Mall 1 will host the Usapang Nanay 10th Anniversary Celebration at the mall’s activity area, featuring talks, performances, and a special bazaar featuring ten participating merchants. Highlighting the celebration is a performance by Tawag ng Tanghalan grand champion Rea Gen Encina, adding even more heart to a day devoted to honoring moms.
Over at Farmers Plaza, mom-centered conversations take the floor on May 10 and 11 with FHMoms: Ultra Mom Fest Day. This year’s lineup includes talks on financial freedom, work-life balance, and running a business while raising a family. The space will also host Zumba sessions, live performances, and a mini bazaar run by ten mompreneurs.
Then on May 11, the main Ultra Mom Fest Day event takes place at Gateway Mall 1 with a meet-and-greet and photo opportunity with social media personality Mommy Grace Tanfelix. Known for her viral cooking videos and her love for sharing family-friendly recipes, Mommy Grace will also host a short cooking demonstration where she will prepare a special dessert for the audience to sample. The Mandaluyong Children’s Chorale will also serenade moms in the audience with heartfelt songs. Beauty and wellness booths will also be set up for a bit of self-care, and roses will be handed out to moms throughout the event.
For the aRUNeta Run Club on May 11, early birds can lace up for The Mommy Run from 5 to 9 am. A Zumba party will kick things off at the Green Gate of the Smart Araneta Coliseum, along with giveaways, raffle prizes, and a Best in Zumba Outfit award.
To cap off the festivities, Farmers Plaza will host the TV5 Mother’s Day celebration, “Superstar Ka, Ma!” on May 18. The event will feature celebrity performances, fun games, free salon makeovers, and beauty booth activities, creating a festive and pampering experience for all moms.
More treats await Araneta City-zens on Mother’s Day. For shoppers at Gateway Mall 1, Ali Mall, and Farmers Plaza, they may redeem a limited-edition Mommy Bag—an exclusive token to mark the occasion—for every ₱2,000 single-receipt purchase from May 9 to 11. Meanwhile, netizens may also join the Pic with mom! digital promo, where winners will get free services like haircut and facial cleaning, or a lunch or dinner treat for the whole family at Dampa.
And as a commitment to moms, a breastfeeding station will open at Gateway Mall 2 in partnership with La-Z-Boy—designed as a clean, comfortable, and calming space for new mothers.
