PonteFino Hotel finally introduces to the public its signature dining destination, Pastorelli. Pastorelli is another addition to the Batangas culinary experience as it offers a unique blend of international flair and beloved local flavors, particularly a twist to some of Batangas’ well-loved dishes.
Located within PonteFino Hotel’s luxurious 18-hectare estate, Pastorelli offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner, featuring a menu that includes both innovative international dishes and the hotel’s signature Batangas cuisine and local favorites from the past 20 years.
Pastorelli is named after Atty. Antonio Pastor, a member of a prominent Batangas City family from whom PonteFino acquired the land where the hotel now stands. Aside from his legal profession, Atty. Pastor is also a musician. During his younger years, he enjoyed a vibrant career as a pianist and singer at a famous Italian restaurant in New York. It was there that he got the nickname “Pastorelli” from the Italian restaurant owner.
Pastorelli welcomes guests with a newly renovated and elegant interior, providing an awe-inspiring view of PonteFino Hotel’s swimming pool and water park.
The restaurant boasts finely curated menu options featuring local and international cuisines complemented by refreshing drinks and delectable desserts.
It also takes pride in offering famous Batangueno dishes such as the Taal Spare Ribs, Bistek a la Pobre, Sinaing na Tulingan sa Kamias, Batangas Lomi, and the Batangas Beef Bulalo.
A fine dining experience also awaits its guests with premium offerings such as the Ribeye Steak Au Poivre, Lamb Rack with Mint Jelly, and Tuscan Salmon, among others.
But if patrons are looking for that Filipino taste, Pastorelli also offers famous Pinoy dishes like the Crispy Pata Ajillo, Lamb Kaldereta, Tiger Prawns Sinigang, and its Housemade Chicharon.
Spearheading the culinary direction of Pastorelli is Chef Stephen George Bustamante, Corporate Executive Chef and VP for the Food and Beverage Group at PonteFino Hotel. Chef Stephen brings to Pastorelli over 20 years of illustrious culinary experience from the U.S.A., including San Francisco, Redwood City, and San Mateo in California. He is a graduate of the California Culinary Academy (2002) with an Associate of Occupational Studies in Culinary Arts. Before joining PonteFino Hotel in 2024, Chef Bustamante served as Executive Sous Chef for Sentro 1771 (2016-2020) and Corporate Executive Chef for One World Deli (2020-2024).
Pastorelli is open for breakfast from 6:00 am to 10:00 am, lunch from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm, and dinner from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The restaurant is also available for private functions.
