Robyn M, the young artist who has been doing the rounds in the underground indie scene, debut her first music video for her song, Ballad of Flowers.
People are often curious about this 15-year-old singer-songwriter. When she shows up for a gig, she clearly stands out—still quite young—and you might find yourself wondering what a teenager is doing in here? Her Dad, a rock musician back in the day, purchased a drum set to go with his guitars. This led to the emergence of a home studio. One thing led to another and the family band was born. Unbeknownst to everyone, this fun hobby turned out to be the catalyst in Robyn’s own career as a singer-songwriter. With the home studio and band in place,
Robyn’s songs came to life.
Her songs are a product of her love for alternative music, as well as her love for storytelling and reading books. Paramore, David Bowie, Hole, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Madds Buckley and Taylor Swift are among her greatest influences. She now has 8 songs available on streaming platforms and more on the way.
Ballad of Flowers is her latest release and the music video was launched last August 30, 2025.
When asked what it’s about, Robyn explains: “It’s a song about love—but not the kind I’ve experienced firsthand yet. It’s more about the idea of love, and what it should feel like. The lyrics are framed around a father giving advice to his daughter about the kind of love she deserves in the future.”
She adds: “The inspiration came from a quote I read in the book Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo. It really stuck with me. That’s what I tried to capture in this song.”

If you enjoy alternative music with meaningful lyrics, storytelling, and 90s alt-rock inspired guitar sounds. Then YES. She is pretty awesome. Apart from the music, Robyn has also been seen as a role model, inspiring other young musicians to pursue their passion. And really, what’s more wholesome than gigging with your family?
