NetEase Games and visual novel company NITRO PLUS have launched a demo for Rusty Rabbit today. The free trial version of the upcoming 2.5D action side scroller is now available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Steam. Written by Gen Urobuchi, creator of famous anime series such as Puella Magi Madoka Magica and PSYCHO-PASS, the demo offers players an extensive first look at the “smash and dash” gameplay featuring rabbit hero Stamp. Players’ progress in the demo will carry over to the full game, which is set to release on April 17th, 2025 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation®5 and PC (Steam).
In the trial version released today, players can expect a well-rounded test experience, containing the introductory part of the full game and story.
Along with the demo, social media followers can win codes for the full game by entering a giveaway on X/Twitter! Users simply need to follow the official Rusty Rabbit account and retweet the following post between February 20th to 27th for a chance to win at the end of this period:
