Answering the urgent call for blood donors, SAFC once again demonstrated its commitment to saving lives through its latest bloodletting drive, held last February 28, 2025, at its head office. This initiative comes at a critical time as the Philippine Red Cross continues to appeal for blood donations amid a nationwide surge in dengue cases. According to the Department of Health (DOH), dengue cases have risen by 56% from January 1 to February 15, with 43,732 reported cases compared to 27,995 during the same period last year. With hospitals experiencing an increasing demand for blood, corporate and community-driven initiatives play a vital role in maintaining a stable supply for patients in need.
