Innovation and tradition meet at the combined showcase of the Philippine International Furniture Show (PIFS) and Interior Design Manila (IDM), where Filipino designers and manufacturers present a compelling vision of the country’s evolving design identity.

The exhibition highlights the Philippines’ long-standing mastery of natural materials such as rattan, bamboo, and abaca—elements that have helped position the country as the so-called “Milan of Asia.” Today’s Filipino designers are transforming these materials into refined pieces that blend craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics suited for the global stage.

A strong emphasis on sustainability also defines this year’s showcase. Exhibitors are presenting eco-conscious collections that use recycled components and responsibly sourced local materials, reflecting a growing commitment to sustainable production within the design industry.

More than a design showcase, the event serves as an important meeting ground for business. Manufacturers connect directly with international buyers, hotel groups, and property developers seeking unique, high-quality furniture and interior solutions. With curated installations, thought-provoking design discussions, and opportunities for collaboration, PIFS and IDM continue to strengthen the Philippines’ role in shaping the future of global design.
