This Year of the Fire Horse, McDonald’s Philippines introduces 12 Chinese zodiac-inspired collectibles featuring beloved McDonald’s characters. Available for a limited time only, they come in cute detachable Zodiac animal shells and can be availed with the NEW Golden McFloat.

“This Chinese New Year, we wanted to offer a special experience that pays homage to culture and festive celebrations through our very own Zodiac collectibles and the NEW Golden McFloat. It’s all about food, fun, and fortune this season, and we encourage everyone to join and enjoy this experience in our stores,” said Ada Almendras-Lazaro, McDonald’s Philippines’ Chief Marketing Officer.

Available for a limited time only, the McDonald’s Zodiac collectibles reimagines Grimace, Hamburglar, and Birdie as animals from the Chinese zodiac, each with a detachable Zodiac animal shell with its own colored gem — all of which are interchangeable across the collection.

The 13 interchangeable zodiac animal shells include a bonus golden horse shell to mark the Year of the Fire Horse. Collectors can mix and match characters and cases to reflect their own unique character.

A Limited-Time Lucky Combo

Customers can enjoy this Chinese New Year exclusively through a lucky combo — just add PhP168 to any McDonald’s meal to get 1 Collectible and an upgrade to the NEW Golden McFloat.

Bringing even more sweet luck to the season is the limited-time NEW Golden McFloat, crafted to toast customers to a golden year ahead. The refreshing Sprite-based drink features a fruity mix of peach and pear flavors, topped with creamy vanilla soft serve for the perfect celebratory sip.

More Fortune-Filled Surprises Await

The Lunar New Year celebration at McDonald’s doesn’t stop there. Customers can also look forward to McDo App-exclusive deals and other offers during the season.

“We’re creating feel-good moments where customers can celebrate luck the McDonald’s way, from collecting our McDonald’s Zodiac collectibles and enjoying the NEW limited-time Golden McFloat, to experiencing fun in-store fortune card readings. We want every visit to feel exciting and positive, whether they’re discovering their fortune through the McDonald’s App, scoring exclusive deals, or even joining our festive on-ground activations,” Almendras-Lazaro said.
