As part of the grand homecoming festivities, Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray made a much-awaited stopover at the PLDT head office where she met with PLDT Chairman and CEO Manny V. Pangilinan.
During the courtesy visit, MVP expressed renewed commitment to PLDT’s partnership with Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BPCI) and Miss Universe Organization. Since 2014, PLDT has supported BPCI’s various causes and events, particularly the annual and highly anticipated Binibining Pilipinas pageant.
“We are one with the nation in celebrating Catriona’s victory,” MVP said. “Her resounding success proves what we’ve always known—that Filipinos are truly world-class. We look forward to continuing our fruitful partnership with BPCI and Miss Universe Organization, and empower more amazing Filipinos to shine on the global stage.”
PLDT employees and officials welcomed the homecoming queen while Catriona took time to take pictures and even showcased her world-famous ‘lava walk.’
The courtesy visit to PLDT was one of the highlights of Catriona’s triumphant return to the country.
A true queen with a mission, Catriona also visited two charitable organizations that she supports—Love Yourself (HIV/AIDS awareness and education) and Smile Train (for underprivileged children).
