Beloved Pinoy comics superhero Darna has arrived at Fun Con 2019 in Glorietta Activity Center in Makati City as a Funko Pop toy—turning heads and captivating people’s hearts at the convention.
Filipino Funko enthusiasts hoping to be in possession of the limited edition collectible flocked to the con, some even lining up as early as 3 AM just to make sure that they can take home their own Darna Funko Pop.
Additional Darna merchandise that are available at the venue are the Halimaw statues, the Darna card game and other collectibles for Pinoy komiks fans’ pleasure.
The Funko collaboration is in part a celebration, kicking off the 70th anniversary of the iconic Darna—the first to have a variant of the global brand, Funko.
