One of the best things about living in the Philippines is that a quick getaway out-of-town is always possible. There’s always a beach, mountain, or tourist attraction nearby, and can be accessed by a short drive.
Samsung hosted One Epic Day by taking eight ambassadors on a trip full of unique activities in Batangas. These adventures were recorded with their Galaxy A70 and the newly-launched Galaxy A80, Samsung’s newest smartphones from the A series range that are built for the Era of Live.
Samsung ambassadors Richard Juan, Tommy Esguerra, Melissa Gohing, Kaila Estrada, Kyle Perry, Erika Kristensen, Macaulay Lofgren, and Jaime Borromeo got to experience the beauty of Batangas with challenges and activities that fans voted for on Samsung’s Instagram stories days prior to their actual trip.
The ambassadors channeled the spirit of Bali with Villa Jovita’s giant swing and nest. As true digital natives, they took photos with the Galaxy A70 and A80’s Triple Camera, which has the 8MP Ultra-Wide Lens for stunning panoramic shots that take in the resort’s full landscape.
The gang also visited the Cape Santiago Lighthouse, dubbed as one of the oldest functioning lighthouses in the Philippines. The structure was captured beautifully with the Galaxy A70 and A80’s 32MP+8MP+3D Depth Rotating Camera. The smartphones’ built-in Scene Optimizer feature automatically recognizes and enhances photos to get optimum levels of brightness and saturation.
Selfies and group shots became more exciting with the Galaxy A80’s Rotating Camera. This innovative feature changes how users can document their life as it can shoot on both sides to capture every epic moment.
At Stilts in Calatagan, the ambassadors got to experience a thrilling ATV ride. The Galaxy A80’s Super Steady feature enabled them to record as if they were using a pro-level action camera. Even if the terrain was rough, the ambassadors captured smooth live videos perfect for social media.
Before their trip ended, the group realized they still had enough energy to go live and share their epic trip with their followers while basking in the beautiful sunset by the beach. Their smartphones come with an all-day battery—Galaxy A70 has 4,500mAh while Galaxy A80 has 3,700mAh.
The group also enjoyed looking back at their adventure through photos and videos, thanks to the Galaxy A70’s HD+ sAMOLED Infinity-U Display, and the Galaxy A80’s Full HD+ Super AMOLED New Infinity Display which showcased every detail of their adventure.
