Cebuana beauty Tracy Maureen Perez will be aiming to take home the crown in the Miss World 2021 Coronation happening in Puerto Rico on December 17, 8:00am Manila time. Tracy first secured a spot in the Top 30 after winning in the Head to Head challenge, where candidates are asked to introduce themselves and talk about their advocacy. She was then also chosen as one of the Top 5 Finalists of the Beauty With A Purpose.

Tracy is a seasoned beauty queen, having won a number of local beauty pageants. The model-host is also an industrial engineer, earning her degree from University of San Carlos in Cebu City, and worked as a software engineer in a consulting company. Her chosen advocacy is helping single parents support their families, in line with Miss World’s charity initiative “Beauty with a Purpose.”

The 70th edition of the pageant will see Jamaica’s Toni-Ann Singh crowning her successor from among 98 contestants. Tracy is vying to be only the second Filipina to win the crown after actress Megan Young won in 2013. The Miss World 2021 pageant will be streamed live and commercial-free on Upstream on December 17, Friday, with the Red Carpet starting at 7:00am and the live Pageant at 8:00am. There will also be a delayed telecast on CNN Philippines.
