GRAMMY-nominated and Emmy Award-winning multihyphenate Labrinth and Emmy Award-winning actor Zendaya have released “I’m Tired” from the score album for the HBO hit television series “Euphoria,” which just completed its second season. Zendaya stars as the main character “Rue” and serves as an executive producer for the series. Labrinth is the lead composer. Co-written by Labrinth and Zendaya, “I’m Tired” was originally performed in the emotional final scene of episode four that saw Rue standing in a church while Labrinth sang to her. The two came together after the special episode aired to create a collaborative version together.
Comprising the first two singles of the “Euphoria” score album, “I’m Tired” is a follow up to Labrinth’s release of “Yeh I Fuckin’ Did It” from the second episode of season two.
Stay tuned for Dominic Fike’s “Elliot’s Song,” performed during the season two finale, set to be released Friday, March 4.
The soundtrack for “Euphoria” season one earned immense critical acclaim, with Labrinth receiving two Emmy nominations, ultimately winning the Emmy Award for Outstanding Original Music & Lyrics. Zendaya won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her performance.
