Hundreds of entrepreneurs, particularly those who own and manage micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) benefitted from a series of masterclasses organized by PLDT Home Biz.
Dubbed Aasenso Ako! Master Series, PLDT Home Biz conducted workshops and forums led by successful Filipino entrepreneurs including the founder of Potato Corner and Tokyo Tempura, Jorge Wieneke, advertising veteran and GoNegosyo mentor Jenny Wieneke, and PLDT Home Biz ambassadors Roxanne Montealegre, Dianne Medina, and Nadia Montenegro. In partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), they taught aspiring and budding entrepreneurs from Pangasinan, Cavite, Boracay, Laguna, and Bulacan how to start and grow their businesses, plan for business continuity, and resilience.
“As a brand that champions digital inclusivity among Filipinos, we also recognize our role in enabling MSMEs’ growth and recovery by ensuring that our services power them to success,” said Patrick Tang, First Vice President and Head of PLDT Home Customer Management. “This year, we celebrate every MSME as we advance our support for their growth and success towards nation-building.”
Bigger, Grander Biz
A strong supporter of MSMEs and its role in the growth of the Philippine economy, PLDT Home Biz also gave its subscribers special promos and start-up packages to empower Pinoy entrepreneurs and give them access to digital resources and tools for their business.
PLDT Home Biz offered bigger and better Asenso Fiber Plan 1499 at 50% off for the first three (3) months of subscription. PLDT Home Biz subscribers get to enjoy the following: free installation, activation, unlimited TRI-net calls to PLDT, Smart, and TNT; and complete e-commerce solutions such as logistics, e-payment, and marketplace services, thanks to PLDT Home’s e-commerce partner solutions such as UnionBank Global Linker, Maya, LBC, and Grab.
Moreover, PLDT Home Biz made its digital solutions even grander by rewarding customers with exciting raffle prizes that they could use to build up their businesses. Lucky subscribers and grand raffle winners from Metro Manila, Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao received Php 100,000 worth of cash, smart home gadgets, and exclusive/dedicated mentorship programs from Mr. and Mrs. KaAsenso Jorge and Jenny Wieneke.
These initiatives were part of the telco’s month-long celebration of the United Nation’s global MSME day, recognizing the huge role of MSMEs in driving sustainable development, innovation, and livelihood to millions of people around the world.
