In support of the opening of classes this August, Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc. (KCFI) launches its School Anywhere campaign complementing the Department of Education’s (DepEd) requirement of a hybrid or blended learning curriculum, with access to educational content to watch anytime, anywhere.
Through the years, Knowledge Channel saw the growth of its digital platforms and how it can reach more students and teachers.
For school year 2022-2023, Knowledge Channel will produce new seasons of its digital-first flagship programs for every grade level, from preschool to senior high school, with Wikaharian Online World with Teacher Michelle Agas, and Mathdali Live with celebrity host Robi Domingo.
Other digital shows airing fresh episodes are Knowledge on the Go, an interactive quiz show with popular educreator Lyqa Maravilla, and Art Smart with Japan-trained art teacher, Precious Gamboa.
Apart from students and teachers, parents can also learn all about parenting with guest experts on early childhood development and mommy Bianca Gonzalez through TalkEd: Early Childhood Series.
KCFI also introduces preschool music content in Pop Babies and its senior high school TLE (technology and livelihood education) program block for Grades 11 and 12, airing every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday starting 4:00 PM with programs like AgriCoolture hosted by Enchong Dee; and Negosyo Ka, Asenso Ko that deals with business and entrepreneurship topics to further knowledge and skills sets on these subjects.
Knowledge Channel’s School Anywhere, aims to make education and learning accessible to students and teachers nationwide, on platforms that are available wherever they may be. Knowledge Channel’s 17-hr curriculum-aligned programming is available on cable, direct-to-home satellite and DTT, and online through iWantTFC. Video lessons are also available on-demand through KCFI’s official Facebook and Youtube pages.
Knowledge Channel’s School Anywhere programming is also on Kapamilya Channel every Sunday, 7 AM, and A2Z from Monday to Friday, 7 AM.
Educational products like the Knowledge Channel Portable Media Library (PML) and Knowledge Channel TV are specifically designed to aid teachers and their students in supplementing both classroom and distance learning with DepEd-approved video lessons without the need for an internet connection.
