Globe is giving anime fans an #ExtraGDayEveryday and immersing fans in the upcoming CRX experience with exclusive content from the biggest anime event of the year happening on September 17 and 18 at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre through Sugoi Society PH, the latest go-to community for Filipino anime lovers and manga enthusiasts.
Filipino fans can get an inside look, and get the most rewarding anime experience with the help of Globe’s Sugoi Correspondent, Blue Tala who is a cosplayer, anime fan, and talented anime artist! She will share a first-hand account of the events in Melbourne thanks to Globe’s travel partner, Klook, to deliver unique and exciting content on all things Crunchyroll exclusively available on the Sugoi Society Facebook!
Crunchyroll Expo Australia will be the first CRX event to be held outside the United States, and fans can expect the best anime experience in true Crunchyroll style! There will be back-to-back special screenings and premieres, colorful and exciting cosplay parades and competitions, art exhibits, live performances of iconic anime songs, and a massive selection of anime merchandise and special edition collectibles.
Voice actors and creators who brought fan-favorite characters to life will also grace the event. In the guest list is Kaiji Tang, the voice of many anime characters including Satoru Gojo in JUJUTSU KAISEN; Anne Yatco, well-known as the English voice of Nobara Kugisaki in JUJUTSU KAISEN; and Ricco Fajardo, the voice of Mirio in My Hero Academia.
Japanese singer ASCA and DJ Kazu are also performing at the event. At the same time, award-winning cosplayers Knite, VYE, and Kirilee Cosplay will make special appearances as judges in the much-anticipated Crunchyroll-Hime’s Cosplay Cup.
