Did you miss the fun and eargasmic music at the recently held G Music Fest? Don’t worry because Globe and BUD are bringing the music festival to you!
At GlobeXBUD Virtual World, you can visit the G Music Fest grounds, interact and socialize with your friends, and even take pictures for a new 917 #ExtraGDayEveryday experience.
The G Music Fest held on September 17 at the Circuit Events Grounds Makati, is part of Globe’s annual celebration of 917 GDay held every September to give back to customers and thank them for their loyalty.
The G Music Fest virtual world officially launched the partnership between Globe and BUD, one of the largest global open metaverse platforms that allow millions of users to create and experience 3D content with friends on Android and iOS.
With BUD, virtual world participants can enjoy avatar personalization as well as chat, voice, and emotes functionalities. They can easily design and create 3D worlds without coding, hold public or private sessions with friends, and visit a non-fungible tokens marketplace.
“At Globe, we leverage new technologies to bring our customers’ experiences to the next level. With this recent partnership with BUD, our customers can now create their very own metaverse playgrounds for more fun, innovative, educational, and passion-filled experiences,” said Rina Siongco, Head of the Get Entertained Tribe at Globe.
Globe pioneered the metaverse platform in the Philippines through its Virtual Hangouts, using technology to bridge the physical and digital worlds. It promises unique interactive activities that visitors can explore. Users can also create their avatar, and chat and do video calls with their fellow Gen Zs inside the portal.
