Reinforcing its commitment to helping different communities in need, QSR giant McDonald’s Philippines through its charity of choice, Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), extends a helping hand to areas affected by Super Typhoon Karding.
Through the McDonald’s Kindness Kitchen, volunteers from both the private and public sectors distributed over 3,000 meals to communities in Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, and Nueva Ecija.
The Kindness Kitchen is a program of RMHC which aims to serve meals to those in need like those affected communities by natural calamities, medical health workers, and other frontliners like the police, LGU volunteers, and government agencies; as well as marginalized sectors without access to food. Since it began operations in 2020, McDonald’s Kindness Kitchen has served over 570,000 meals.
