TERA Information and Connectivity Solutions, Inc. (TERA), a subsidiary of MacroAsia Corp., has partnered with Gur Lavi Corp. (GLC), one of the Philippines’ fastest-growing telecommunications distributors, as it moves to become a fixed-line internet service provider for both business and residential users in the next three to five years.

Under the recently signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), TERA aims to deliver “end-user experiences as technology and tier 1 internet services provider to the LT Group, Inc,” a listed holding company of business tycoon Lucio C. Tan. MacroAsia hopes that partnering with GLC will reduce operational costs and boost its digitalization efforts as it strives to recover from the pandemic.

“We feel that GLC has the technical expertise and a good understanding of the whole tech side that we can leverage on. We can learn from them that’s why we are grateful for this partnership, and we wish to also impart our expertise and knowledge in helping other companies in their digital transformation journey,” TERA President and COO Eduardo Luy said.

Luy explains that a lot of companies are moving their employees to work remotely from home, coffee shops or anywhere thus the information that they have is out there and not always within their offices.

“With GLC, we can change the way you do things, make the information available when ever needed, timely and accurate, and make sure all your people are well connected and informed through communication and collaboration tools, always in touch and connected to the world out there,” he added.

GLC is considered as an industry trailblazer when it introduced one of its flagship brands TeLavi Cloud, the only one of its kind and an all-in communication platform in the country. It is a ground-breaking product which offers Cloud Telephony solutions, Team Messaging; Video Conferencing; and Call Center Solution for enterprises and SMEs to any office location or even from home.

For his part, GLC President and CEO Erwin Co said, “We wish to impart our expertise, our knowledge in helping TERA and the other companies in their group in their digital transformation journey.”

Co shared that their mission is to provide businesses with powerful yet affordable and customizable communication solutions and GLC looks forward to having positive impact to the lives of millions of Filipinos.

TERA and GLC agreed that they will be initially focusing in areas where such services are needed by the MacroAsia Group or its current joint venture partners to meet business requirements, boost connectivity and reduce costs among the different business units.
