Armie Sayno has been working as a domestic helper in Hong Kong for over nine years now. She is a mom to three children, which made it a tough decision for her to work abroad. (Translation: “It’s difficult to be an OFW, but I need to endure and power through especially when I miss my children’s birthday and Christmas celebrations. It’s sad because I don’t get to be with them during these important milestones, so I just keep myself busy at work to deal with the sadness.”)
