Former “Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7” housemate Vivoree speaks about becoming fearless in love in her new single “Matapang.”

“It’s a song about being brave in love. Let’s say may gusto ka sa isang tao or mahal mo yung isang tao, nung una ‘di mo alam kung paano i-express [yung feelings] at takot ka pa. Pero in the long run, you’d have the courage to admit to yourself na ‘okay gusto ko itong taong ‘to,’” Vivoree shared.

“Matapang,” a teaser to her upcoming solo EP that is set to be released this year, was composed by Danielle Balagtas, produced by Ashley Aunor, and released under Star Music.

Vivoree vowed to showcase a different side of herself for her coming-of-age EP by working with some of the most talented female songwriters and producers.

“Yung mga songs ko before and the way I project myself, iba talaga kasi inosenteng Vivoree pa yung nakilala ng mga tao. This time it’s a different version of me, mas matapang at mas may strength na to speak up for herself and her personal experiences,” she said.

During her stay in “PBB,” Vivoree wrote her first single “Kaya Pa” which she released in 2016. She also collaborated with former Hashtags member Charles Kieron for their digital album “CK & Vivoree” in 2019. Last year, she teamed up with Jon Guelas for the duet version of “Did I Let You Go.”

Aside from her music career, she also starred in different shows such as the IWantTFC series “Hello Stranger,” “Tara, G!” and “He’s Into Her.”

Listen to the lovely confession of “Matapang” available on various digital platforms.
