ABS-CBN, the leading media content provider in the country, continues to share relevant knowledge about the media industry with young students via the hybrid Pinoy Media Congress this April and May.
The Pinoy Media Congress, which is held in partnership with the Philippine Association of Communication Educators (PACE), will kick off at the Cavite State University on April 29 and will continue at the University of the Philippines Mindanao on May 6, wherein delegates of the host schools will be joined online by other students from universities in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
Both sessions on April 29 and May 6 will have some online segments via Zoom hosted by the University of the Philippines Los Baños.
Students will get to learn from high-caliber media professionals, including ABS-CBN Music head Roxy Liquigan, ABS-CBN Film Restoration head Leo Katigbak, “Dirty Linen” head writer Kay Brondial, and ABS-CBN News’ chief of reporters Jeff Canoy.
Also joining the roster of speakers are Dr. Rosario Ruby Roan-Cristobal, executive producer and program anchor for Radyo Henyo/DZRH, and Val Vestil, co-founder and executive director of the Association of Young Environmental Journalists.
