“Sisterakas” and “One More Try” Reign MMFF 2012 Box-Office

Thousands of families nationwide celebrated Christmas by watching two of Star Cinema‘s grand movie entries to the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF 2012) — the comedy flick “Sisterakas” starred by Vice Ganda, Kris Aquino and AiAi delas Alas, and the modern family drama and MMFF 2012 Best Picture “One More Try” topbilled by Angel Locsin, Dingdong Dantes, Zanjoe Marudo and Angelica Panganiban.

This was proven by the official first day box-office results releasd by the MMFF organizer Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) where “Sisterakas” landed on the no.1 spot with Php 200 million (as of this writing), while “One More Try” now ranked no.2 with Php 102.6 million (as of December 30, 2012).

Don’t miss two of the Holiday season’s most talked about films, “Sisterakas” and “One More Try, still showing in cinemas nationwide.
