JPMorgan Chase & Co. launches UPLIFT Program at FEU High School in Manila

FEU High School (FEU HS), a student-centered educational institution for junior and senior high school in the Philippines, partners with JPMorgan Chase & Co., a global leader in financial services, to offer UPLIFT, a bridging program that aims to prepare aspiring and high-potential graduating senior high school (SHS) students for employment.

The UPLIFT Program champions the Department of Education (DepEd)’s goal for the K-12 program to develop students for higher education and employment. It includes training in communication, analytics, client servicing, and risk management. This program addresses the aspirations of the 19% of SHS students at FEU High School who want to pursue employment after graduation.

“We are honored to partner with one of the world’s largest and most respected financial institutions for a program that will significantly help our senior high school students who aspire to work in the financial industry. FEU High School is committed to preparing students for both college and work,” said FEU HS Industry Partnership Program Lead Einnaj Aquino.

The program further extends its support by providing financial assistance to outstanding students who aspire to pursue a college degree through the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP). FEU HS is the first secondary school to offer the program exclusively to at least 18-year-old graduating senior high school students.

Through JPMorgan Chase & Co’s impactful initiative and robust corporate culture, students will not only enhance their knowledge and critical thinking abilities but also gain invaluable hands-on experience and mentorship from seasoned professionals in the business. This collaboration is poised to empower students, equipping them with the skills and insights needed to thrive in the dynamic world of finance.

JPMorgan Chase & Co. Vice President for Talent Acquisition Lead Katrina Yulo discusses the UPLIFT Program

“Our program aligns with our country’s vision to enhance and propel students’ abilities and expertise, not only within the classroom but also in the financial industry. Together, we strive to uplift and accelerate their growth, nurturing well-rounded individuals equipped for success both academically and professionally, and we look forward to working with the talented students from FEU High School,” said JPMorgan Chase & Co. Vice President for Talent Acquisition Lead Katrina Yulo.
