The Spinnaker, the newly-launched iconic beachfront condotel at Resort Estates Club Laiya in Batangas was acclaimed the Asia Pacific Property Awards’ Best Sustainable Residential Development with Five Stars in the Philippines. This earned The Spinnaker the nomination on the regional level, where the development will be judged in the next round to determine Asia Pacific’s Best. The top winners in each region will automatically be entered into the overall international awards, culminating in a glittering awards ceremony at the end of the year.
The Spinnaker was also recognized as the Asia Property Awards Winner for Condominium Development in the Philippines. The awarding ceremonies was held at the ballroom of Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, Bangkok, Thailand, and showcased outstanding projects on industry excellence throughout the region.

The Spinnaker is proudly pursuing EDGE Certification of the World Bank, targeting to meet the criteria of at least 20% savings on use of resources: water, energy, and embodied materials. The condotel will be the first to feature the double-piped waterline system to use non-potable water for toilet flushing and irrigation. It will also provide an Electric Vehicle (EV) charging station to reduce the property’s carbon footprint.
