Prime Video announced today that the Korean series No Gain No Love, a zero-sum rom-com about gains and losses in love, will be coming to the service. Actors Shin Mina, Kim Young-dae, Lee Sang-yi, Han Ji-hyeon, and more are starring in this modern romance about not wanting to lose out on love, money, and career. Returning 2 years after her last drama, Our Blues, rom-com queen Shin Mina is back with a modern and relatable heroine. Shin Mina has solidified her status as a rom-com queen with countless rom-coms such as Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, Oh My Venus, My Girlfriend is a Gumiho, and more. Through No Gain No Love, Shin Mina would introduce fans to her new bold side in addition to her usual lovely charm. Prime Video customers in more than 240 countries and territories can watch new episodes of No Gain No Love weekly, on Mondays and Tuesdays, starting August 26.

When it comes to family, love, or work, Son Hae-yeong played by Shin Mina has encountered loss after loss. In order to change her luck, Hae-yeong ends up seeking a fake wedding with her neighbourhood convenience store employee, Kim Ji-uk, played by Kim Young Dae (The Forbidden Marriage, Moon in the Day) to avoid missing out on a promotion. Kim Ji-uk is known for being a model neighbourhood citizen and works night shifts at a convenience store. A local hero who can not ignore others in need, he agreed to Hae-yeong’s ridiculous proposal to be her fake groom for her fake wedding. Furthermore, the series features second lead actors Lee Sang-yi as third-generation chaebol Bok Gyu-hyun who is the CEO of the company where Hae-yeong works and Han Ji-hyeon (Cheer Up, The Penthouse) who plays Nam Ja-yeon, a popular R-rated web novel writer and Hae-yeong’s family-like friend and roommate.

Director Kim Jung-sik (Strong Woman Kang Nam-soon; Work Later, Drink Now) will be helming No Gain No Love and the series is written by Kim Hye-young (Her Private Life).

Will these characters be able to gain love and not lose out on anything? Tune in for a fun, modern romance when No Gain No Love launches on Prime Video on August 26.
