Hailing the victors of vivo 3×3 Basketball Challenge second stop at SM City Dasmariñas

The vivo 3×3 Basketball Challenge continued with its second leg at SM Dasmariñas, bringing a surge of excitement to the south side on July 28, 2024.

With vivo‘s reinforced partnership with the National Basketball Association (NBA), the brand continues to connect with basketball communities across the Philippines, attracting a large crowd of hoopers and fans who are constantly excited about the upcoming basketball challenges.

This passion for basketball was evident from the impressive turnout of registrants from various parts of Cavite for the competition’s second stop, with its eligibility extended to all Filipinos 19 and older.

Four groups from both the men’s and women’s categories clinched victory in this thrilling second leg of the basketball competition, earning their places in the eagerly awaited grand finals.

Men’s Division winners

From the Men’s Category, the victorious teams are:

• Aguilas B
• Stay Groovie
• Bagong Cabuyao
• CJHA – B

Women’s Division champions

In the Women’s Category, the top teams are:

• KENGS
• Generals
• DAYO
• CJHA

Victory was in their vocabulary

Aguilas B proved their basketball prowess in the men’s category, as every exciting shot drove them closer to triumph.

“Wala kaming tulog kasi excited [kami]. Masaya po yung experience [namin] sa liga na ‘to,” Aguilas B member, Jonard, exclaimed when asked about his team’s big win in the basketball challenge.

On the other hand, KENGS dominated the women’s division and emerged as champions.

“Nagpapasalamat kami sa vivo kasi binigyan [nila] kami ng chance makapaglaro dito, lalo na yung mga babae,” KENGS member, Maui, shared with all smiles.

Dancing with cheers

It’s a known fact that a basketball game is not complete without a dance performance.

The NU Street Dance Group, performing as special guests, brought their street-style flair to the court! With vibrant energy throughout, their performance featured dynamic movements and striking choreography, revving up all the watchers!
