Reinforcing its leadership and example in Information, Communications & Technology ( ICT) excellence, Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) through one of its executives was recognized for legal excellence at the EdTek Excellence Awards during EdTek Con 2025, which was held recently in Cebu City.
Smart Vice President and Head of Regulatory Affairs Atty. Roy Ibay was named “ICT Lawyer of the Year”, an award honoring legal professionals for outstanding advocacy and expertise in various ICT fields such as telecommunications regulation, cybersecurity, data privacy, and emerging technologies.
