Rex Navarrete Is Back In Manila And Reloaded!

Fil-Am comedian Rex Navarette returns on the Philippine stage once more after a sold out gig at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, Resorts World Manila last August 2011 (read separate blog here). This time, he will be performing at the NBC Tent, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig for the “Rex Reloaded” this coming November 16!

Known for his funny animated shorts like “Maritess and the Superfriends” and “SBC Packers” to name a few, expect Rex Navarrete to deliver huge servings of fun and entertainment as he shares his perspective of Filipinos, life and famous personalities.

Aside from the the NBC Tent gig, he will also spread more laughter at the Waterfront Hotel Cebu on November 25, Friday, for his “Rex Navarrete Live“.

Naverette will be sharing the spotlight with funnymen Mike Unson and magician JB Dela Cruz who will be opening the show for both nights. I had a glimpse of the show when I attended the press conference yesterday afternoon at Commons Restaurant and Bar in Makati. It was my first time to see Rex in person. As he responded to the questions thrown at him, you can hear the intelligence behind his funny lines. Same goes with Mike Unson and JB Dela Cruz.

These guys are not your ordinary comedians. Unlike other performers in their line of business in the country, all three delivered lines that are funny, with the glint of maturity and intelligence that I have yet to see. And that’s done while doing the interview. I can’t help but admire. The skeptic in me was even wowed by JB Dela Cruz when he showed us some card tricks which are nothing short of magic. Things happened before my very eyes. It’s truly magic.

I look forward more of their performance on November 16^th. I’m sure to hear Rex’s take on boxing champ Manny Pacquiao whom he said he would love to be on the show. Be amazed, entertained and be tickled to your bones! This will be a jam-packed event just like his previous shows.
