Johnson’s Active Kids Leads the Way in Age-Appropriate Hair Care with #BidaBest Campaign

It was all smiles, dance moves and healthy hair as Johnson’s Active Kids wrapped up its wildly celebrated successful #JohnsonsBidaBest – a nationwide celebration that captured the hearts and TikTok feeds of Filipino families.

Designed to bring fun and learning together, the campaign spotlighted the importance of age-appropriate hair care for kids through an irresistible and catchy TikTok dance challenge. The result was a wave of family created videos, millions of views and a resounding message of caring for children’s hair can be joyful as it is essential.

At the center of the campaign was Johnson’s Active Kids Shampoo, developed with a pediatrician-tested formula, free from added parabens & dyes. Gentle yet effective, it is specially made for the unique needs of developing hair. The campaign’s call to action, “Active Kids Shampoo gives the gentle care your kids’ developing hair needs,” resonated strongly with parents who want the best for their growing children.

Fueling the viral movement was beloved celebrity Jolina Magdangal who encouraged other parents to join the fun and share how Johson’s Active Kids has been a staple in her parenting journey. Thousands of Filipino families took part in the challenge, racking up 21.9 million views and more than 2,800 entries on TikTok. The campaign also tapped into the power of parenting influencers and digital communities, making the reach dynamic as the dance moves itself.

“The #BidaBest Dance Challenge was more than just a digital contest—it became a platform for family bonding, self-expression, and mindful parenting,” said Alvin Adizon, Brand Manager for Johnson’s Active Kids Shampoo. “We are thrilled to see so many Filipino families celebrate not only their creativity but also their growing care for their kids deserve.”

The campaign’s success was celebrated at Robinson’s Place Manila last May 23, 2025, where the grand prize winners of the TikTok Dance Challenge were recognized for their creativity and enthusiasm. The event served as a platform to further highlight the benefits of Active Kids Shampoo and reinforce the campaign’s core message.
