Celebrate queer Filipino cinema classics with Reel Pride at Ayala Malls Cinemas, in celebration of Pride Month. Powerful, diverse, and trailblazing queer Filipino stories are back on the big screen from June 25 to July 1, 2025 at Ayala Malls Trinoma, Fairview Terraces, Market Market and Manila Bay cinemas.

Ayala Malls has been commemorating Pride Month with various initiatives and events this June. Continuing with the spirit of the month, Ayala Malls Cinemas, in partnership with Viva Films, showcases four iconic titles with themes of love, identity, and resilience. Get to watch Pusong Mamon (1998), Macho Dancer (1988), Mahal Kita, Beksman (2022), and Two and One (2022) in theaters, the way they were meant to be seen.

Pusong Mamon (1998)

Director: Joel Lamangan

Starring: Eric Quizon, Lorna Tolentino, Albert Martinez

Synopsis: A woman unknowingly seduces a gay man and becomes pregnant. The trio—woman, gay man, and his partner—navigate an unconventional family dynamic.

Macho Dancer (1988)

Director: Lino Brocka

Starring: Daniel Fernando, Jaclyn Jose, Allan Paule

Synopsis: A young man enters the world of male stripping to support his family, confronting exploitation, identity, and survival. Winner of the Gawad Urian Awards for Best Actor (Daniel Fernando) and Best Supporting Actress (Jaclyn Jose).

Mahal Kita, Beksman (2022)

Director: Perci Intalan

Starring: Christian Bables, Iana Bernardez, Keempee de Leon, Katya Santos

Synopsis: Dali, a flamboyant straight man, shocks his LGBTQ+ family and friends when he reveals his heterosexuality and falls in love with a woman.

 Pusong Mamon (2022)

Director: Ivan Andrew Payawal

Starring: Miggy Jimenez, Cedrick Juan, Paolo Pangilinan

Synopsis: A gay couple explores polyamory to fix their relationship, but jealousy and betrayal test their bond.
