FROM PAGEANTRY TO ADVOCACY

Miss Asia Pacific International realigned the candidates’ activities from scheduled pageant events to immediate relief efforts after a magnitude-6.9 earthquake struck the province, with the epicenter traced to Bogo City.

The earthquake happened in the midst of Miss Asia Pacific International’s Benefit Gala in partnership with Operation Smile on September 30, 2025.

The candidates, alongside MAPI organizers, joined hands with local partners to pack and distribute relief goods, assist in evacuation centers, and provide comfort to families whose homes were destroyed.

From lending hands in relief operations to stepping onto the runway for charity, the MAPI candidates showcased what it means to be women of action—resilient, compassionate, and ready to respond when communities need them most.
