AC Hotel by Marriott Manila opens its First Flagship Hotel in the Philippines

The Philippines welcomes its first-ever AC Hotels by Marriott as the  brings its perfectly precise experience to the Philippines. Rooted in the signature Marriott service, the brand’s Spanish heritage, and Filipino-inspired hospitality, the hotel blends form and function to create a stay thoughtfully tailored to every guest. Opened its doors to guests on December 22, 2025, at GLAS Tower, corner Ruby and Opal road, Ortigas Center, Pasig City, AC Hotel by Marriott Manila is every essentialist’s modern, effortless escape.

Every element of the hotel has been crafted in close collaboration with the family of architects & designers behind ASYA Design, whose work champions different aspects of design and structure.

The architectural foundation of GLAS is led by Architect Andrew Cerwin Yu and Aaron Cedric Yu, Design Directors at ASYA. As advocates of ESG principles, they ensure each structure is environmentally responsible, socially relevant, and governed with integrity, providing an ideal foundation for a contemporary business & lifestyle hotel such as AC.

The hotel’s design vision and experiential direction are led by Clarice Anne Yu – Sy, Interior Design Director & Managing Director of the property. Her role bridges concept and experience – ensuring that every touchpoint of the hotel embodies exceptional hospitality and timeless sophistication. Rooted in the belief that true luxury lies in thoughtfulness, her design narrative reflects a quiet confidence, one of simplicity and sincerity – where intention guides every detail. In redefining the guest experience, she envisions spaces that restore, inspire and leave a lasting impression.
