Singer-songwriter Gabri Panlilio deepens her ongoing advocacy for mental health awareness with the release of her powerful new single and music video, “Sick and Tired.”
Honest, vulnerable, and emotionally charged, the song captures the quiet breaking point many experience but rarely talk about—when exhaustion goes beyond the physical and settles deep into the mind and soul.
“Sick and Tired” is about reaching that moment of emotional and mental burnout, where pretending to be okay is no longer an option. Gabri shares that the song reflects being overwhelmed by expectations, labels, and the pressure to constantly hold oneself together.
At its core, it is an admission of vulnerability—and a reminder that acknowledging pain is not weakness, but the first step toward healing.
The song was inspired by Gabri’s personal experiences with emotional exhaustion and mental health struggles. It was born from a season of overwhelm and the realization that moments of fatigue that many listeners silently carry, hoping they feel seen, understood, and less alone.
Continuing the mental health conversations she began with her earlier release “Calm,” Gabri has remained intentional in using her music as a platform for advocacy. She believes mental health deserves the same level of care and attention as physical health. While faith can offer strength and grounding, Gabri emphasizes that healing also requires action—seeking professional help, setting healthy boundaries, and prioritizing both mental and emotional well-being.
