Fans of the The Hunger Games series will be in for a treat this November as Eastwood City hosts the Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 Fan Fest.
To join the Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 Fan Fest, shoppers must purchase one Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 movie ticket at the event venue (the Eastwood Mall Open Park). One ticket is equal to one entrance stub.
The Fan Fest is done in partnership with Pioneer Films, Hunger Games Philippines Fans Club, Crossfit Manila, Ninja Academy, Train Station, Global Gutz, C-Unlimited Digital Entertainment and Eastwood Cinemas.
Meanwhile, fans who want to give archery a shot can avail of the Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 Archery Challenge at Newport Cinemas from November 20-21 and Lucky Chinatown Cinemas from November 22 – 26. All they have to do is purchase a minimum of three movie tickets at Newport or Lucky Chinatown Cinemas on those dates to get a free archery tryout.
Based on the best-selling YA series penned by Suzanne Collins, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 continues the story of Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence), Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) and the other tributes as the revolution against the Capitol begins in earnest.
Finding herself in District 13, Katniss is challenged to become the Mockingjay, the face of the Revolution for the downtrodden Districts, in the war led by President Coin (Julianne Moore). Meanwhile, she must confront her feelings for childhood friend Gale (Liam Hemsworth) even as she desperately fights to save Peeta.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay- Part 1 is directed by Francis Lawrence from a screenplay by Danny Strong and Peter Craig and produced by Nina Jacobson‘s Color Force in tandem with producer Jon Kilik.
Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 will be showing at Eastwood, Newport and Lucky Chinatown Cinemas on Nov. 20.
