Now on its third season, WATTPAD PRESENTS introduces the TV adaptation of “Lala Laitera (Ang Laiterang Hindi Naman Pretty)”, originally written by Sic Santos which now has more than 2.3 million online reads and 42.7 votes. Showbiz newbie Toni aquino gives life to the annoying but cute character of Lala Lazaro, or popularly known as “Lala Laitera” – a certified brat whose main purpose in life is to find flaws and mock people. Infamous for her “not-so-good” trait of always saying bad things about the people around her, Lala Laitera has the habit of always pointing out the physical flaws of those people in their neighbourhood, regardless of whether these are people she barely knows or close friends of hers. To teach Lala laitera a lesson, a mysterious character named “Dyosa Thick-Thick” (played by the mother of Toni Aquino, Ruby Rodriguez) appears and puts her under a spell – a spell which will make Lala Laitera experience the same things she makes fun of whenever she mocks other people. The only way for the spell to be lifted is if Lala Laitera can find a true love who will love her back. But there is a catch: as soon as the spell goes away, the memory of her true love will also go away. Lala Laitera did not take “Dyosa Thick-Thick’s” words seriously until she starts to acquire the same physical flaws she was making fun of from people the she mocked. All these things happening to her just as when she met and fell in love with the male version of herself, Sic Santos (Carl Guevarra) a spoiled brat who, like Lala Laitera, has a pastime of making fun of people’s flaws. How can Lala Laitera rejoice in the fact that, finally, she has found the true love who can lift her curse if it means losing this true love when Sic inevitably forgets her when her curse gets lifted?
