Singer songwriter Kina Grannis returns to Asia after a three-year absence from the region with her highly anticipated “Elements Tour”.
Her series of tour performances will be a first for fans in the region who have yet to experience Kina’s new material from her latest album, “Elements”, which was released last May. Upon its release, “Elements”, climbed to the #2 spot on the iTunes Singer Songwriter Chart, and the #1 spot on iTunes Canada. Her chart-topping success proves that she has come a long way since her humble beginnings as a budding singer-songwriter.
The Los Angeles-based artist first came to the public’s attention after she won The Doritos Crash the Super Bowl competition, which saw her winning video entry, “Message from your Heart”, winning her millions of fans. This was an unexpected turn of events for Kina, who at the time just wanted to share her music on YouTube, but was now in the midst of a deal with Interscope Records. However, it was not long before Kina respectfully declined this offer, and went on to be the independent artist she is today.
Kina now has more than one million subscribers and has garnered more than 150 million views on YouTube. Her plans to return to Asia will see the songstress play in Jakarta, Taipei, Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Manila.
Performing alongside opening acts Imaginary Future (USA) and Gentle Bones (SG), Kina will wrap up her tour of Europe and America before making her way back to this part of the world. With her warm vocals and her exquisite music, Kina is set to delight fans across Asia.
