Well-known today for its wide range of printers and multi-function centres for homes and offices, Brother’s first product offering consisted not of printers but of sewing machines.

The only sewing machine brand offered in the big appliance stores in the country, Brother is the choice of the brand conscious market, and will even be more preferred by customers with the introduction of another cost-efficient home sewing machine model the Brother FS101 computerized sewing machine.

Brother FS 101 has a wide array of professional features in a lightweight, easy-to-use package. Affordable and super functional at retail selling price (RSP) of Php 20,995, it has 100 built-in utility and decorative stitches, 55 built-in character stitches, quickset drop-in bobbin, and built-in needle threader.

Brother’s other sewing machines available in the market include the JS-1410 mechanical sewing machine with 14 built-in stitches; the GS-2700 mechanical sewing machine with built-in needle threader, one-step buttonhole and 27 built-in stitches; and the NV-55P affordable computerized sewing machine with central controls for simpler sewing, LCD display and 135 built-in stitches including letters.

What gives Brother sewing machines even more superb value is the excellent and accessible after-sales service, including training that Brother provides.

Brother International Philippines Corporation (Brother Philippines) Glenn Hocson said that they are making sure that they are there for their customers as they package free training with the purchase of the machine. They even train offsite, as needed, he said.

“More than the product manuals, we want to give our customers the training that will help them appreciate all the features of the machines, and make them capable of maximizing these to help them become more creative and innovative in their products,” said Hocson.

Brother also has 16 Sewing and Embroidery Machine Authorized Service Centers nationwide.

“Customers can rest assured that there is a Brother Authorized Service Center nearby to help them maximize the use, as well as maintain their Brother sewing machines,” he said.
