Alongside #DU30onJune30, the 5th #SMDay‘s theme #TayoPH topped national Twitter trends as various online communities, digital brands and netizens fervently tweeted about their excitement and optimism about the topics discussed and personalities featured in the largest social media event in the country held at the Samsung Hall of SM Aura Premier.
Sponsored by SM Supermalls, the country’s biggest mall network, #SMDay adapted the theme #TayoPH, which according to @TweetupMNL “stands as a clarion call to stand together as a people. To celebrate social media’s triumphs and recall its potential harnessing social media’s strengths in bringing people together, in crossing boundaries, and merging divides.”
