Red Bull Records announced today that the Venice Beach trio of Ray Wright, Serk Spliff and Manu Li, collectively known as Warm Brew, are the newest signees to the growing record label. The signing marks the first time Red Bull Records has signed a hip-hop group to the label alongside Fakework Management Group and the independent Los Angeles label, The Other People’s Money Company.
The first project to be released by Warm Brew on Red Bull Records will be the EP, Diagnosis on July 15th. The project features the Swiff D (ScHoolboy Q’s “Studio”) produced single, “The Mission”.
Diagnosis will also feature guest appearances from SiR, Buddy, Racella and long time collaborator, Hugh Augustine as well as production from Rob Knox (Justin Timberlake), Al B Smoov, Drew Byrd (DOM Kennedy) and Lord Quest (ScHoolboy Q, Talib Kweli, G-Unit). Diagnosis serves as the return of Warm Brew following the release of Ghetto Beach Boyz January 13th, 2015.
