With singer and songwriter Noel Cabangon, you can always expect something new and refreshing. Cabangon has a new album under Universal Records called “Sa ‘Yo Lamang”, a collection of classic inspirational songs and original compositions that delve on renewal and the environment. “Sa ‘Yo Lamang” is his latest addition to his growing list of chart-topping albums such as “Byahe,” “Tuloy Ang Byahe,” “Acoustic Noel,” “Throwback: Ang Songbuk ng APO,” and “Panaginip.”

Cabangon is also preparing for the Traffic Jam concerts – September 16 at The Music Museum and October 21 at the PETA Theater Center. Traffic Jam is a unique concert that promises to showcase a different side of Cabangon who is more known for his folk and acoustic tunes. Favorite songs expected of Cabangon will be sung side by side with other tunes that capture the different moods of Filipinos as they make their way through choked city streets.

Joining Cabangon on this special journey are veteran musician Nikki Cabardo as musical director and special guests including Ogie Alcasid, Rico Blanco and Aicelle Santos. Cabangon will explore new musical territories during Traffic Jam, such as funk and jazz infused with that unique Filipino touch, as he continues to evolve as an artist.

For tickets, call Ticketworld 891-9999.
