Great discovery awaits delegates of the world’s largest travel blog convention, the Travel Blog Exchange (TBEX) Asia Pacific 2016. Presented by the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB), tours will be arranged for international travel bloggers, writers, media content creators and travel industry influencers who will be visiting the Philippines for the event.
The TPB has prepared exciting itineraries featuring premier destinations and top tourist attractions of the country right before and after the conference. The tours will provide opportunities for attending bloggers to write travel stories, tips and ideas that they can pass on and suggest to their followers.
The full-packed tours will include visits to the country’s top historical landmarks, world heritage sites, scenic views, natural wonders, entertainment venues, lifestyle spaces, and other popular attractions.
The delegates will go back in time as they visit the walled city of Intramuros and UNESCO World Heritage sites in Ilocos. They will trek the majestic Banaue Rice Terraces tagged as the “Eighth Wonder of the World”. Some will be having a wellness tour in Batangas and Tagaytay to experience “hilot”, our signature Philippine massage. Similar tours are being arranged for Palawan, Bicol, Cebu and Davao.
Bloggers will also be treated to a night of fun in Manila which is considered one of the best in Asia. With live entertainment, food and drinks onboard, the private pub crawl will enable the delegates to see for themselves why Manila is fast becoming one of Asia’s coolest cities.
The delegates will also take an exciting 15-hour food trip to discover Filipino culinary delights. Their gastronomic journey will include the flavors of Kapampangan and Negrense cusine, Chinese delicacies and street food treats. Participants will have a taste of “lechon”, the best roasted pig ever, according to renowned culinary personality Anthony Bourdain.
