Globe Telecom will comply with the directive of the National Telecommunications Commission to temporarily suspend mobile services in some areas of festivities relating to the Dinagyang festival in Iloilo City.
Globe General Counsel Atty. Froilan Castelo said the company will always comply with directive of the NTC, particularly in relation to public safety and security. “Similar to directive we received from the NTC during the recent Black Nazarene and Sinulog events, we are compelled to temporarily suspend mobile services in some event areas of the Dinagyang festival and we would like to appeal for our customers’ understanding,” Castelo said.
